New and Improved CSSA Website
The CSSA has made many changes to the website to make it more reader friendly, to allow for more CSS related news, to increase relevancy to international members and to allow readers to easily contribute to our efforts either by sending online donations or by joining the free membership mailing list. The new reader friendly improvements include the addition of a FAQ, larger, easier to read type, and easy to access information about area contacts throughout the world. The FAQ, which can be accessed via a link at the top of the front page, contains concise facts about CSS in easy to understand language. There is a printer friendly version which can be printed out on one page and shared with family, friends and medical professionals. Area contacts can be found by clicking on the national flags on the bottom of the front page. Here you will find people in different parts of the world who are willing to be contacted about CSS related matters and concerns. Our sincerest thanks to all those who volunteered to help others in this way. The CSSA has made much progress in its quest to become a relevant, valuable resource for patients around the world. We are thrilled to have highly respected doctors from Germany, France and the Netherlands on our Medical Advisory Board. Christophe Declerck, from France, has joined our Board of Directors and has been responsible for many changes to the website, including the addition of the national flags. In addition, Marina Mesker from the Netherlands has worked hard to create an international presence for the CSSA. We are in the process of combining the "In Our Own Words" feature with "Help for Patients, by Patients". Marian and Cindy Smoot will head up this feature of the website. Here you will find area contacts for CSS patients arranged geographically, patient stories, books reviews, and a patient forum for the exchange of ideas. (more information link) We've made it easier for readers to support the mission of the
CSSA by being able to accept online donations. (Click

We are excited about future projects which include the creation
of a quarterly online newsletter and the publication of brochures.
Please sign up to be on the free mailing list so we may inform you
of these developments as they happen.
